Cut the cord four years ago but still watch my stories via Hulu (for now, anyway), YouTube and ESPN3. I don't have that many stories left. "Modern Family" is good, of course. A show written by Joss Whedon and featuring only Dianna Agron and Kristen Bell would be nice too. But then who would he kill off? Oh, I jest, Joss, I jest. I'm just joshing, Joss...

Bought a case of freaking 60-watt bulbs right before falling in love with CFLs. Still have 38. Museum possible.

I loathe unjustified war; the use of Tasers; marriage inequality; eggs; creamy things; Cadbury eggs for obvious reasons; yes, I know they're not really eggs; mayo more than Bruce Willis in "The Whole Nine Yards"; leaf blowers; incompetence; incompetent people chasing one or two leaves with a leaf blower; people whose music can be heard outside their car; people who swing their arms out as they walk; people who swing their keys on chains or shoelaces; in general, people who have no concept of personal space or limit on their own; people who clearly can't shop and talk on the phone at the same time but attempt it anyway; and video autoplay. Oh, how I hate video autoplay...

"The Shawshank Redemption" is the only movie I've ever rated a 10. Yes, I'm one of those people, but I also love football; mustard; Jewel; true crime; fictional crime; mica lamps; anything made by Fiskars (scissors, pruners, shovels, rakes, the works); "Love Actually"; people who make me laugh; and Diet Dew (Sunkist will do in a pinch because it really does contain caffeine)...

The drink thing also has to do with the fact(s) that I will partake of maybe 3 percent of the alcoholic beverages available in this country, gave up cola, do not like to drink my calories and do not drink anything hot ... I have had coffee three times in my life...

Vanilla-scented candles remind me of the ocean ... I do not know why...

You find the perfect house, needs-wise.

Then you realize you’d be living on Unicorn Drive.

Do you buy it?

Shorter version: Does the road name/address matter to you? (Not necessarily Unicorn in particular, just any weird name.)

It definitely matters to me, but I also think the number matters … the address of one of the houses I looked at was 113 … they even had “One Thirteen” in cursive above the steps, like you couldn’t even pretend, as a buyer, that it was One One Three instead … it would have been very hard for me to get past that address … I like both the number and name of the place I did buy…
